Lab Mini-FIRe
Lab mini-FIRe is a low-cost and highly sensitive system, which is ideal for basic lab analysis and field sampling in mesotrophic and coastal regions of the ocean. This system is also employed in the open ocean for automatic continuous measurements or discrete sample analysis of the basic set of photosynthetic parameters, such as photosynthetic efficiency, functional absorption cross-sections of photosystem II, electron transport rates, quenching coefficients, and chlorophyll content. Mini-FIRe UHS Mini-FIRe UHS is a high-end research device that delivers an unprecedented suite of photosynthetic characteristics and computer-controlled measurement protocols. Due to its ultra-high sensitivity and precision (20X improvement over its predecessors), it is an ideal instrument for dedicated laboratory research and field work in the open ocean. Mini-FIRe Systems are available with one (blue), two (e.g. blue and green), or three (e.g., blue, green, and orange) excitation wavelengths for selective excitation of different functional groups of phytoplankton. Multi-Color Mini-FIRe Multi-Color Mini-FIRe is an ultra-high-sensitive system with six excitation wavelengths is designed for dedicated oceanographic research and allows the user to monitor in real-time and automatically both photophysiological characteristics and changes in the taxonomic composition of phytoplankton communities. Diving mini-FIRe Diver-operated or moored instrument for underwater research on coral and other benthic organisms. |
